Unit 4:
How We Organize Ourselves in Place and Time:
An inquiry into orientation in place and time; personal histories; homes & journeys; discoveries, explorations and migrations of humankind; the relationships between the connection of individuals & civilizations: local global perspectives. Students will explore strategies to improve athletic performance through cooperation. While developing their skills, students will discover that cooperating with others can enhance their skill development. This unit connects with the Lower School Theme of "How We Organize Ourselves in Place and Time". Students will explore through the units of Soccer, Swimming, Olympics: Striking, Relay Races and Obstacle Course, and Games.
Students will demonstrate ESLRs during all aspects of PE.
